The Perennial Question: Why should I use a soft bristle bamboo toothbrush?

We’ve heard the questions once and we know we’ll hear it again- doesn’t a firm bristle toothbrush clean teeth better?

The short answer, and the one that dentists recommend, is no, absolutely not. You can read more here <https://www.ada.org/en/member-center/oral-health-topics/toothbrushes> but as you’ll see, the American Dental Association recommends that people brush their teeth with only a soft bristle toothbrush.

We recommend using baking soda (literally just add a dab on top of your toothpaste) to add a little more grit if you want that more abrasive feeling.

If you are brushing twice a day for two minutes and you still don’t feel that your teeth feel clean enough, the real issue may lie with the toothpaste you are using. You might try swapping out your toothpaste for another brand. We recommend using an all natural toothpaste, and we juussssst might have something to help you out with that coming soon! ;)
